The bag this week features two very timely fruits – grapefruit and oranges. Both G and I have gotten colds so we will definitely be imbibing plenty of Vitamin C to help us get over them quickly. The bag also included some spinach, which is always delicious, as well as mushrooms, sweet potatoes,, and, one of my favorites, brussels sprouts.
A forewarning now – I’m probably just going to roast the brussels sprouts in olive oil and salt and munch on them. That is the best way to eat them, as far as I’m concerned, though I’m certainly open to recipes if anyone has any suggestions.
