Cinnamon Applesauce

This is a go to recipe for apples and is fantastic for adults and babies. It’s quick and easy (total kitchen time 15 minutes) and has a whopping two ingredients. I made this for breakfast this weekend for G and me. I popped the apples in the steamer and then went to get him up and give him some milk.  By the time we came downstairs again, the apples were done. I pureed them and served the applesauce up warm. It was delicious and I felt like super mom for having freshly made applesauce on the table for breakfast.

The recipe:

2 apples

Cinnamon (to taste)

  1. Chop apples into chunks
  2. Steam apples until tender (10 minutes)
  3. Puree apples until smooth
  4. Stir in cinnamon to taste

Yield: 4 servings

TKT: 15 minutes

-You can use any kind of apple in this recipe
